AI marketing for butchers and specialty food businesses
People go to a butcher for the conversation as much as the cut: how thick, how long to rest it, what to do with a brisket for twelve. Flo puts that conversation online, so people come in already knowing what they want.
A specialty food shop sells knowledge, sourcing and the thing the supermarket does not stock. Every one of those is a story worth telling, and each has rules about how it is labeled.
Written for the counter conversation.
Which kind of shop do you run?
A meat market or specialty grocer with a counter and staff, and a butcher working largely alone, both sell expertise and sourcing. Pick yours.
Butcher and specialty food use cases
Four jobs the platform runs on a specialty food account, most of them about what is in the case and where it came from.
In The Case This Week
Special cuts, new arrivals and holiday orders.
Where It Came From
Farms, ranches and producers, named and described.
Origin Claims, Right
Product of USA and local claims that match the rules.
How To Cook It
Short guides for the cut someone just bought.
Other food and beverage businesses we set up differently
Butchers sit next to the other specialty shops people visit for expertise.
Marketing by company size
The same platform, framed by how many kitchens, trucks or locations you run, not by what you cook.
You have questions. We have answers.
What comes up on the first call with a butcher or specialty grocer.
Can we say our meat is a Product of USA?
Only if it meets USDA's rule, which since January 2026 requires the animal to be born, raised, slaughtered and processed in the United States. Local and farm claims should match what you can document.
Do federal inspection rules affect what we sell?
They can. Retail stores that cut and sell meat are exempt from federal inspection only if they meet conditions, including that at least 75% of sales by dollar value go to household consumers. Selling a lot to restaurants can change that.
What content works for a butcher?
The case, the cuts and how to cook them. People who buy a new cut want to know what to do with it, and a short guide answers that once they are home.
How do we sell holiday orders?
Early. Turkeys, roasts and hams sell out, so a note in early November gives customers the ordering dates.
