AI marketing for weight loss and metabolic clinics
The shortages ended, the compounding window closed, and a lot of clinics built their whole model on a supply that no longer exists legally. Flo writes for the ones that did not.
Anybody can prescribe a drug. What a clinic is actually selling is everything around it, and that has to be said now.
Written for a market that just reset.
Which weight loss business are you?
A chain running clinics across markets, a physician-led metabolic practice, and a nurse-practitioner clinic are now competing on completely different ground than they were two years ago. Pick the one that matches what you run.
Weight loss and metabolic use cases
Four jobs the platform runs on a metabolic account, written for a market after the reset.
Sell The Program
Monitoring, nutrition and follow-up, which is what actually differs between clinics.
Explain The Supply Change
What ended and why, for patients who were on something cheaper last year.
Hold People Past Month Three
The point where side effects, cost and plateau converge.
Replies That Name Nobody
A review answered without confirming anyone was ever a patient here.
Other medical and dental practices we set up differently
Metabolic medicine sits next to the other practices selling a course of treatment rather than a visit.
Marketing by company size
The same platform, framed by how many locations you run, not by what you treat.
You have questions. We have answers.
What comes up on the first call with a metabolic clinic.
What changed about compounded GLP-1 supply?
FDA declared the tirzepatide shortage resolved in December 2024 and semaglutide in February 2025, with enforcement dates following within months. That removed the legal basis for the mass compounding a large part of this market was built on, and separately FDA has proposed excluding these substances from the 503B bulks list, which is not final.
Our patients were paying far less last year.
Which is the conversation to have in public rather than avoid. Explaining what changed, and why FDA reported dosing errors of five to twenty times the intended dose with compounded versions, is more persuasive than letting somebody conclude you simply raised the price.
How do we compete with telehealth prescribers?
By selling the parts they do not have. Monitoring, titration, nutrition support and somebody who answers when side effects start. The prescription is a commodity and the program is not, and almost no clinic markets the program.
Patients stop around month three.
Reliably. Cost, plateau and side effects arrive together, and a clinic can prepare somebody for that moment in advance instead of finding out at a missed appointment.
