AI marketing for interior designers
Twenty nine states, plus DC and Puerto Rico, regulate this profession and the rest do not, which means the word designer carries a different weight depending on where you stand.
In a profession where anybody can use the title in about twenty states, the only reliable credential is the body of work somebody can see.
Written for an uneven profession.
Which design business are you?
A decorating network with designers across markets, a studio with staff and trade accounts, and a residential designer working alone sell taste in three completely different structures. Pick the one that matches what you run.
Interior design use cases
Four jobs the platform runs on a design account, in a profession judged entirely on what is visible.
Publish Constantly
A visual profession where being seen weekly is most of the business.
Explain How You Charge
Flat fee, hourly, cost plus or a mix, which almost nobody publishes.
Show The Process
Selections, lead times and what a client is actually agreeing to.
Replies In Your Voice
Reviews answered as the designer clients are actually hiring.
Other professional services firms we set up differently
Interior design sits next to the other practices selling judgment about a space.
Marketing by company size
The same platform, framed by how many people bill, not by what you advise on.
You have questions. We have answers.
What comes up on the first call with an interior designer.
Does regulation actually affect our marketing?
It affects what you may call yourself. Thirty one US jurisdictions regulate the profession, through title acts that protect the title and practice acts that define what the work includes, and the remaining states have none, so check your own before describing yourself.
What should we publish?
More than finished rooms. Selections, why a material was chosen, what a lead time actually means. It is the most visual profession in this category and most of its content stops at the beautiful photograph.
Should we publish pricing?
The structure, at least. Flat fee, hourly, cost plus and combinations all exist and clients have no idea which they are being offered, so explaining your model plainly removes the most common source of disputes.
Everyone posts the same kind of images.
Which is why the caption matters more than the photograph. A room with an explanation of the constraint it solved is memorable. The same room with a list of brands is not.
