AI marketing for home inspectors

An inspector's largest referral channel is the real estate agent, and the profession's own code of ethics forbids paying for it. Flo writes the posts, the service area pages, the agent-facing email and the review replies agents read before they refer.

Spectora, HomeGauge and Inspector Pro write the report and book the job. Neither they nor anything else does the work of being the inspector an agent names without being asked.

Six social networks, your site, your email platform, and a reply on every Google review.

How do you win the agent referral when you cannot pay for it?

By being the inspector whose name comes up and a visibility problem, not a sales problem. The ASHI code forbids compensating an agent for a referral directly or indirectly, and forbids taking compensation for recommending a contractor to your own client. What is left is the report, the turnaround, and whatever an agent can see of you before they have ever hired you. Pick the kind of inspection business you run.

Inspection use cases

Four jobs the platform runs on an inspection account. Each is set up once and then follows your market and your license calendar.

Agent Facing Content

Publish the explainers an agent sends a nervous buyer. The referral engine the code does allow.

Service Area Pages

Stand up a page for each town and county you cover, written against that market instead of copied down the list.

Post Report Email

Follow the buyer and the agent after the report goes out, while the next referral is still being decided.

Review Replies

Answer every review the week it lands, which for an inspector is the entire public record of the work.

Other real estate businesses we set up differently

A title agency and an inspection firm sell to the same agent in completely different ways.

Marketing by company size

The same platform, framed by how many people you run, not by what you do.

You have questions. We have answers.

What comes up on the first call with an inspection business.

Does any of this conflict with the code of ethics?

No, and that is the point of doing it this way. The code bars paying an agent for referrals and taking compensation for recommending contractors. Publishing content an agent finds useful is neither, which is why it is the channel the rules leave open.

Is the audience agents or buyers?

Agents send most of the work and buyers check you before they agree. The social and email calendar targets agents; the service area and question pages target the buyer searching at night, and those are also the pages an agent forwards.

Will it write about things I did not inspect?

It writes from your Knowledge base, which holds your standard, your scope and the systems you actually cover. If you do not do sewer scopes, it does not advertise sewer scopes.

What happens during license renewal?

Nothing stops. The content for renewal season is drafted and approved beforehand, which matters most in states like North Carolina where every inspector clears continuing education against the same September date.
