Wordpress

Integration

WordPress powers more than 40% of all websites on the internet, and an even larger share of the small business websites MoFlo customers run. For real estate agents, trades operators, insurance brokers, and professional service firms, WordPress is the website. The blog inside that website is one of the most underused growth assets in their marketing stack: every business owner knows blogging is good for SEO, almost no one actually does it consistently. The MoFlo + WordPress integration makes consistent blogging realistic. Flo drafts blog posts in your brand voice on a steady cadence, and every draft lives in MoBlogs for your review and editing. When you are ready to publish, you can push it live immediately, schedule a specific time, or use "Let Flo Schedule" to drop the post into the next gap in your publishing cadence so your blog stays consistent. This is a native integration. WordPress.com sites connect via OAuth. Self-hosted WordPress sites connect using a WordPress Application Password and your username. No third-party middleware is involved.

How MoFlo uses

Wordpress

Flo drafts blog posts in your brand voice and stores them as drafts in MoBlogs (configurable: pick topics, change settings by day, frequency, or turn drafting off entirely)

Generate blog posts manually on the MoBlogs Create page, with Flo helping draft on demand or full manual entry if preferred

Auto-generate a featured image (header image) for each post

Connect either a WordPress.com site (OAuth) or a self-hosted WordPress site (Application Password + username)

"Let Flo Schedule" drops the post into the next open slot in your publishing cadence, optimized for consistency

Schedule posts for a specific publish date and time. MoBlogs handles the scheduling: when the scheduled time arrives, MoFlo pushes the post to WordPress via API.

Publish posts directly to WordPress when you are ready, with title, body, slug, and featured image included

Frequently Asked Questions

Find answers to the most commonly asked questions about MoFlo.

Does MoFlo work with WordPress.com or self-hosted WordPress?

Both. WordPress.com sites connect via OAuth. Self-hosted WordPress sites connect using a WordPress Application Password (which you generate from inside WordPress in two clicks) plus your username.

How do I connect WordPress to MoFlo?

From inside MoBlogs, click "Connect a website" and choose WordPress. You will pick whether your site is WordPress.com or self-hosted, then follow the appropriate flow. The whole process takes under five minutes.

Do I need to install a plugin?

No. The integration uses WordPress's built-in REST API. WordPress.com uses OAuth and self-hosted uses Application Passwords, which are a built-in WordPress feature.

Will MoFlo overwrite my existing posts or themes?

No. MoFlo only creates new posts. Existing posts, pages, themes, and plugins are never modified or deleted.

Can MoFlo set categories or tags on posts?

Not at this time. MoFlo publishes posts without category or tag assignment. You can add categories and tags from inside WordPress after publishing.

Does MoFlo integrate with Yoast SEO, Rank Math, or All-in-One SEO?

Not at this time. MoFlo posts include a strong title, body, and featured image. SEO plugin metadata can be added inside WordPress after publishing.

Does MoFlo upload a featured image with the post?

Yes. Every Flo-drafted blog post includes a generated header image that publishes to WordPress alongside the post.

Who handles scheduling, MoFlo or WordPress?

MoBlogs handles scheduling. When the scheduled publish time arrives, MoFlo pushes the post to WordPress via the API. The post does not sit in WordPress as a scheduled post in the meantime, which means you can edit it freely inside MoBlogs right up until publish time.

Can I connect more than one WordPress site?

Not at this time. MoBlogs supports one WordPress site per MoFlo Cloud account.

Can I turn off Flo's blog drafts?

Yes. Configure topics, change settings by day, or turn drafting off entirely from MoBlogs settings. You can still create blog posts manually on the MoBlogs Create page any time.
