AI marketing for podcasters
An episode takes a day to make and about a minute to scroll past. 58% of Americans 12 and older listened to or watched a podcast in the last month, and a listener who has never heard of your show has to come across it somewhere first. Flo drafts the clip captions, show notes page and newsletter that carry each episode to the people who have not heard it yet.
A show grows between episodes. The week after release is when a guest shares it, a clip travels and a new listener goes back to episode one.
Every episode, carried past the feed.
Which kind of podcast business are you?
A podcast network with a slate of shows, a studio that records and produces for clients, and a host who makes one show alone all publish on a schedule and grow between releases. Pick yours.
Podcast use cases
Four jobs the platform runs on a podcast account, all of them in the days after an episode drops.
Episode Pages
Show notes written as a page someone can find by searching the topic or the guest.
Clip Captions
A caption for each clip you cut, written for the network it runs on.
Guest Share Kits
A post and a line of copy each guest can use, so the episode reaches their audience.
Listener Newsletter
The week's episode, why it matters and what is next.
Other creator and media businesses we set up differently
Podcasters sit next to YouTubers, since many shows now publish video, and next to newsletter operators, who own the list a podcast lacks.
Marketing by company size
The same platform, framed by how many shows, channels or clients you run, not by the medium you publish in.
You have questions. We have answers.
What comes up on the first call with a podcaster.
The podcast apps handle distribution. Why do we need more?
The apps deliver episodes to people who already follow you. New listeners often arrive from a clip, a search result or a guest's post, and those often happen outside the app.
Are show notes worth writing well?
Yes, because they are often the easiest part of an episode for a search engine to read. A page with the guest, the topics and the key points is found by people searching those things months later.
Do sponsor reads need a disclosure in posts too?
When a post promotes a sponsor you were paid by, yes. The FTC's endorsement guides expect a material connection to be disclosed clearly and conspicuously, and drafts label sponsored posts as ads.
How many clips should an episode get?
Enough to cover its best moments, often three to five. Each gets its own caption so the week is planned before the next recording.
