AI marketing for physical therapy practices
Every state now allows some form of direct access, which means patients can come to you without a referral and most of them have no idea. Flo tells them.
The profession spent thirty years winning the right to be chosen directly and then kept marketing to physicians.
Written for a patient who can just call you.
Which physical therapy business are you?
A chain running clinics across several markets, an independent outpatient clinic, and a therapist working mobile or cash-based reach patients in completely different ways. Pick the one that matches what you run.
Physical therapy use cases
Four jobs the platform runs on a physical therapy account, starting with the thing patients do not know.
Explain Direct Access
That they can come to you first, and what their own state allows.
Answer The Injury Search
The specific complaint people type at eleven at night, answered properly.
Recover The Dropouts
Plans of care abandoned at week three, which is most of them.
Replies That Name Nobody
A review answered without confirming anyone was ever a patient here.
Other medical and dental practices we set up differently
Physical therapy sits next to the other practices selling a course of care rather than a single visit.
Marketing by company size
The same platform, framed by how many locations you run, not by what you treat.
You have questions. We have answers.
What comes up on the first call with a physical therapy practice.
Is direct access really worth building content around?
It is the largest unexploited fact in this profession. Every state plus DC and the Virgin Islands provides some form of it, and the average patient still believes they need a doctor's note. Somebody locally has to explain that, and it can be you.
Our state has limits on direct access.
Most do, which is why the content has to be state-specific instead of general. Provisional access carries visit caps or time limits, and a page that states your state's actual rule is far more useful than one that says patients can just walk in.
Patients quit partway through their plan.
Usually around week three, once it hurts less and life gets busy. Nothing in this trade addresses that gap, and a well-timed email about why the remaining sessions matter reaches the patient before they stop coming.
Should we still market to physicians?
Yes, but not only. Referral relationships are real and worth maintaining, and a practice that also gets found directly is not dependent on a referral pattern it does not control.
