AI marketing for consignment and resale retailers
Every item in a resale shop is one of one. When it sells, it is gone, and the people who would have loved it never knew it was there. Flo posts the good pieces the day they hit the floor.
Resale runs on two audiences at once: the people who bring things in and the people who buy them. Both need to hear from you, and both are often the same person.
Written for one-of-a-kind stock.
Which resale business are you?
A chain of resale stores, an independent consignment shop and a reseller working online all sell stock that exists once. Pick yours.
Resale use cases
Four jobs the platform runs on a resale account, split between buyers and the people who bring stock in.
New On The Floor
The best pieces posted the day they are priced, before they walk out.
Bring Us Your Things
Consignment terms and intake days explained so the right stock arrives.
Check The Recalls
Kids' gear and cribs screened against recalls before anything is listed.
Brand Alerts
Regulars told when the labels they hunt for come in.
Other retail businesses we set up differently
Resale sits next to the other shops that sell on a trusted eye.
Marketing by company size
The same platform, framed by how many doors or storefronts you run, not by what you sell.
You have questions. We have answers.
What comes up on the first call with a resale shop.
Our stock changes every day. How can we keep up?
Post the best few pieces as they are priced. A photo and a line is enough, and Flo drafts it from the photo. The regulars who check your feed every morning are your fastest buyers.
Do we have to check recalls on used goods?
Yes. The CPSC says it is illegal to sell any recalled product, and that includes secondhand stores. Cribs made before 28 June 2011 are unlikely to meet the current crib standards. A check before listing kids' items protects you and the family buying.
How do we get better consignments?
Tell people what you want. A post about the brands and categories you are taking this season, and your intake days, tells consignors exactly what to bring.
Is social worth it for resale?
For one-of-a-kind stock it is close to essential. A piece posted at nine is in front of someone who could drive over for it by noon.
