No. MoMail and MailChimp are designed to work together. MoFlo writes the campaign, MailChimp handles the audience, the send, and the deliverability. You keep your existing audience, automations, and template library.
How do I connect MailChimp to MoFlo?
From inside MoMail, click "Connect an email platform" and choose MailChimp. You will be guided through MailChimp's OAuth login. The whole process takes under three minutes.
Does MoFlo send the email automatically, or just create a draft?
It always creates a draft in MailChimp. You review the draft inside MailChimp, pick your audience or segment, set the schedule, and click send from there. You stay in control of who receives every email.
Can MoFlo target specific MailChimp segments or audiences?
Not at this time. Recipient targeting happens inside MailChimp at send time. MoFlo focuses on the writing and the brand voice.
Does MoFlo sync open rates, click rates, or unsubscribes back into MoMail?
Not at this time. Engagement and unsubscribe data live in MailChimp.
Will MoFlo modify my existing MailChimp templates, lists, or automations?
No. MoFlo only creates new draft campaigns. Existing templates, audiences, automations, and contact data are never modified or deleted.
Can I turn off Flo's daily email drafts?
Yes. Configure topics, change settings by day of the week, turn off specific days, or turn the daily drafting off entirely. You can still create emails manually on the MoMail Create page any time.
Does the MailChimp integration cost extra?
No. The MailChimp integration is included with all paid MoFlo plans. You will continue to pay MailChimp directly for your MailChimp subscription.
