AI marketing for plastic surgery providers
Your best result is not your typical result, and since 2009 the federal guidance on saying so has been explicit. Flo writes results content that does not need walking back.
This is the one specialty where the marketing itself is the regulated part, not just the medicine.
Written for advertising that gets read closely.
Which plastic surgery business are you?
A practice with multiple surgeons and a marketing coordinator, and a single surgeon doing their own, carry identical advertising exposure and completely different capacity to manage it. Pick the one that matches what you run.
Plastic surgery use cases
Four jobs the platform runs on a plastic surgery account, written for the closest-read advertising in medicine.
Results Without Overclaiming
Outcome content written so a typical result is not implied by an exceptional one.
Answer The Consult Question
Cost, recovery and candidacy, which is what people search before inquiring.
Work The Consult List
Consultations that did not book, which in this specialty is most of them.
Replies That Name Nobody
A review answered without confirming anyone was ever a patient here.
Other medical and dental practices we set up differently
Plastic surgery sits next to the other practices selling elective procedures under medical rules.
Marketing by company size
The same platform, framed by how many locations you run, not by what you treat.
You have questions. We have answers.
What comes up on the first call with a plastic surgery practice.
Can we still publish before and after images?
Yes, carefully. The FTC's revised guides, effective July 2023, expect an advertiser to have grounds for a result implied to be typical, or to disclose what people generally achieve. Showing your best case without any qualification is where practices get into difficulty.
What changed about reviews?
A rule took effect in October 2024 covering fake reviews, undisclosed insider reviews and suppressing negative ones. Buying reviews was always a bad idea and is now specifically enforceable, as is threatening somebody into removing one.
Most consultations do not convert.
Which is normal in this specialty and is also where the revenue is. A consultation is a serious step, and somebody who took it and did not book usually deferred, not declined, often for a year.
What do patients actually search before inquiring?
Cost, recovery time and whether they are a candidate, in roughly that order. Almost every practice website answers the third and avoids the first two, which is why the inquiry form sits unused.
